Speaking of spring...

Every morning on our way to school, we pass the most beautiful spot. It's just a patch of grass along a winding road flanked by oak trees on both sides but in the spring it's covered in daffodils and wild flowers. I've been meaning to stop there and get some pictures of the kids so a few saturdays ago we grabbed our bikes, I grabbed my camera and we rode a few block over to it. My daugther, as always, was keen to have her picture taken but my son was having none of it ... oh well, there's always next year.

Sunday afternoon at the beach

Today was a beautiful spring day... the kind we've all been waiting for. Grandpa popped in for a visit along with the rest of the clan so we gathered all the kids up and hit the beach. Every time we come here I am reminded of how lucky we are to live so close to paradise. The kids had such a great time with their cousins...kicking off their shoes and running barefoot in the surf. Summer is just around the corner...
